Welcome to artprojekts, meditation and rekreation on an old farm in Överkalix.   

Överkalix is situated near the arctic circle;  the land of the midnightsun and Northern light.

Lendigarden is situated in Överkalix, near the big rivervalley Kalix. Here is a delta with excellent opportunities for fishing, boat- and canoeing. Many different animals like beaver, lynx, elk and bear are living in the area. Arceologists have found settlings in the area which are 7000 years old. It is a saying that Överkalix is the door to the sameland.  Both sami, russian, finnish and swedish people settled here, which is reflected in the unique design of handicraft and furniture-paintings. Some say even a forgotten folkculture called Kväner livs here.
